This was great find!!! Seriously delicious food! So good that I had to stop to take a photo ! Nachos were fresh and so yummy. The burgers were absolutely delicious and worth the 20!!!!!! Dream fries were amazing. My husband and I will definitely be returning!

Went with mom on a Saturday for an early lunch. Loved that they had a parking lot (hard to find sometimes in Schenectady) Loved the interior. We were seated near the bar at one of the low tables, (mom can't handle the high tops). Nicole was the bartender and server and greeted us with a friendly smile and attitude. We had the cheese curds to start. Very crispy on the outside and cheesy goodness on the inside. Loved the honey drizzle for that hint of sweet. I had the goat cheese sandwich and mom had fish and chips Both very tasty and plentiful and had to ask for boxes to take home. Great beer selection and mom loved the peanut butter martini. Atmosphere was pleasant and had a neighborhood bar feel. Will definitely go back. Nicole made our experience very special. Thank you!

We had my sister’s bridal shower at the City Squire and I cannot say enough good things about this place. Aaron and his team were friendly, accommodating and so pleasant to do business with. The food was fantastic (and there was SO much left over to take home) and Aaron did such an amazing job at accommodating our guests with gluten and nut allergies. The banquet menu offered so much as well, and the event space was absolutely stunning. It is the perfect combination of modern elegance and rustic charm. There is even access to the upper patio from the event space. If you are searching for a place to have an event in the Schenectady area, I highly recommend the City Squire! Our guests have been raving about it ever since the shower! You cannot go wrong here.

We stopped in for brunch on Sunday. It wasn't too busy but may have been a little short staffed. Even so, our waitress/barkeep, was very efficient and kind. We didn't wait long and she had our entire order (changes and additions) without a note memorized. It was impressive we did a build your own.Food was delivered by (a possible owner/manager) also very kind and quick. Overall the experience was great and we found a great brunch spot. Burgers were solid and the French onion soup was incredible. You won't be disappointed!

Very impressed by this place! Delicious food and drinks, great servers and staff, and a very cool atmosphere. The food comes out fast, and parking is pretty easy to find. One of the best resteraunts in Schenectady!

Our first visit here and will not be our last. We wanted to check out their vegetarian and vegan options, as have seen some posts about it recent. Building is in great shape, and we were greeted immediately by the hostess and wait staff. Once seated, waitress was enthusiastic, took time to answer questions and talk about the specials.For dinner, we each ordered the blackberry n sage grilled cheese. It was a blackberry jam with sage feta cheese on a grilled ciabbatta bread. Nicely done and served with a large amount of fries. I had a cocktail as did my partner. With dessert ( we opted for the home made honey ice cream with chunks of pear and a caramel Resiling sauce. That was absolutely outstanding. We had our son with us, who had wings n fries. All total, dinner , drinks n dessert for three was 103, before tip...a very fair price. We will def be back.

My wife and I come here regularly and always have a great time. We’re always greeted with friendly, familiar faces, making our experiences memorable. This Thursday however, was exceptional. The place was packed, and usually there are more bartender/servers than just Emma and Marissa working. I have to hand it to them, they hustled and handled the crowd with ease, leaving us and the rest of the patrons very happy. We’ll always come back regardless, but the experience this time, made me feel like I needed to leave a review.S.Ricky

City Squire is such a gem to have in the neighborhood. The food is always delicious and inventive, and the beer selection is awesome. I love the atmosphere here. There’s outdoor eating options when the weather is nice and there’s always a good crowd. The waitstaff and bartenders are so friendly and personable. It’s a very welcoming environment. We’ve never had anything to eat that we didn’t like, but I’d have to say their fried chick peas are our favorite. We also really like the fried chicken sandwich and Squire turkey club. They are huge and bursting with flavor! Overall, City Squire is consistently on point with their food and beverages and a are a reliably great night out any day of the week.
